Cruise Overview

BCN PMI ALC CTS AGP FLL 1200x430

Set sail for a once-in-a-lifetime experience and venture across the ocean on a Transatlantic cruise. Your 13-night adventure begins in Barcelona, Spain, an exciting city that’s worth exploring a few days before your cruise starts. Once on Allure of the Seas, you’ll visit incredible destinations as you journey across the ocean to Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Day 1 Sun, 26 Oct 2025 Barcelona, Spain Departs at 5:30 pm

A cruise from Barcelona is one of the best ways to experience all the brightest jewels of the Mediterranean — but it’s also a great opportunity to spend some time discovering one of the coolest cultural hubs in western Europe. This lively seaside city checks all the boxes — history, culture, amazing food, a thriving art scene and so much more. When you visit Barcelona, you can start every day with a steamy cortado in a charming sidewalk café. After that, the options for adventure are endless. Swim with sharks at Aquarium de Barcelona, one of the largest aquariums in Europe. Check out ancient Roman relics at the Barcelona City History Museum, located in the vibrant Gothic Quarter. Make a reservation to see a sultry flamenco show. And when hunger hits, head to Mercat de Sant Josep de la Boqueria, a pilgrimage site for foodies. It was a covered market back in the 1200s. Now it’s one of the top food markets in the world and a must-visit stop before your cruise out of Barcelona.
Your ship departs promptly at 5:30 pm, so plan to arrive at least 2-3 hours early to account for checking in and boarding protocols. During this time, many of the ship's amenities are open and operating, so feel free to start your holiday early.

Day 2 Mon, 27 Oct 2025 Palma de Mallorca, Spain Docked from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm

Palma de Mallorca is the perfect place to immerse yourself in history and beauty. Go back in time to the 14th century at Bellver Castle, with its mix of Arab arches and Roman-inspired fortification. Catch a wave on the golden sands of El Arenal beach. Then, tuck into cocarrois, a local take on empanadas, or cool off in the quiet gardens and medieval ruins of the 10th-century Arab Baths.
Travel Tips
1
If you're more interested in ocean time than historic sites, book a boat tour to see the coastline of Mallorca from the sunlit waves.
2
Hours of operation for the Palma cathedral vary by season so be sure to check before you arrive.

Day 3 Tue, 28 Oct 2025 Alicante, Spain Docked from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm

Sunny Alicante sits at the foot of the historic Castillo de Santa Barbara. Meander along the narrow streets of its old town, or shop and dine along the city's shady, marble-laid promenade along the seafront. Alicante's white sandy beach Playa del Postiguet has gentle, shallow waters and a great castle view.
Travel Tips
1
Choose fresh seafood at Pesca al Peso market; you can pay and then come back for it after it's cooked.
2
The Alicante Tram, which runs along the Costa Blanca coastline and through the hills, offers incredible views.

Day 4 Wed, 29 Oct 2025 Cartagena, Spain Docked from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm

The Mediterranean port of Cartagena is home to 3,000 years of history, with the Roman Theatre dating back to the first century A.D. Visit the eighteenth-century Concepcion Castle and pop into its historical interpretation center while you're there. Stroll through town to enjoy the extensive street art at Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
Travel Tips
1
Spanish shops close for siesta between 2 and 5 p.m., and restaurants from about 4 p.m. until around 8 p.m.
2
Try Asiatico, a common Cartagena coffee drink with condensed milk, brandy, the Spanish liqueur Licor 43, cinnamon and lemon zest.
3
Don't confuse Cartagena, Spain, and Cartagena, Colombia, while planning your trip!

Day 5 Thu, 30 Oct 2025 Málaga, Spain Docked from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

After your arrive in Málaga, soak in the ancient history at La Alcazaba Moorish fotress and the ruins of the Roman Amphitheatre. Then, unwind on sunny La Malagueta beach or in the orchids and ferns at La Concepcion Botanical Garden. Check out the works of the city's most famous former resident at the Picasso Museum, and savor regional, fresh-caught pescado frito (fried fish) with a squeeze of fresh lemon.
Travel Tips
1
The center of Málaga is relatively small and walkable, but don't take this for granted — three to five hours will pass quickly.
2
If you don't speak Spanish, make sure to cache a Spanish dictionary in your smartphone's Translate app.
